Dear All I am writing to let you know that Hampshire County Council has appointed Rocon Contractors Limited to carry out works to construct a Zebra Crossing and resurface the carriageway outside Nisa Local on Main Road, Otterbourne. The scheme is designed to improve pedestrian safety at a popular crossing point as requested by the County Councillor and Parish Council. The works are scheduled to start Monday 18 July 2022 until August 5 2022. Working hours will be 9:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. To maximise safety, 3-way traffic lights will be in place during construction hours. I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any disturbance that the works may cause but please be assured that we will aim to keep inconvenience to a minimum. However, it should be noted that the works are weather dependent and may need to be re-arranged at short notice in the event of adverse weather.
