The attached communication is due to be delivered to a number of owner-occupied households throughout the Winchester City Council district where their property has been identified as having an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of E or lower. It is a legitimate offer as WCC is part of a consortium led by Portsmouth City Council and Agility Eco offering fully funded installations of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Panels through the Local Area Delivery (LAD 1d extension) scheme. it is a legitimate offer, but please note it is only available to households where: • The household must have a gross annual income of £30,000 or lower. • The property must have an Energy Efficiency rating of E or lower (if households have received the letter it is because they have been identified as potentially having this rating). • The property is owner-occupied. I’m writing to you to ask for your assistance with our project, A Digital Winchester.
Digital Winchester survey here. Digital Winchester call for evidence here. Winchester City Council is calling on residents and businesses to share their experiences to help shape the future of the digital economy. The short survey is designed to capture the local experience of current broadband and mobile services and to gain insight into future needs. COVID-19 has been a catalyst for change and our home and work lives have relied more heavily on better digital connectivity so we can stay in touch with friends, family and colleagues. Excellent infrastructure is essential and the council wants to understand the needs of everyone who uses digital services in any way. In addition to the survey, we also have a call for evidence request: The Council has set out four challenges it is seeking to answer through this work. · Infrastructure · Access · Opportunities · Future potential We are asking residents, businesses, organisations, employers, innovators and investors to send us their evidence to support these challenges. Please upload any relevant research and information from articles, published papers documents and opinions to build up an evidence base for these challenges, here. Sign up to our business newsletter for news about future funding and business support here. Thanks so much for your assistance in advance.
