Vehicular Access to Recreation Ground

The recreation ground continues to be a magnet for ASB believed to be associated with individuals driving into the village to gather in the unlit and secluded car park.  Local residents have been subjected to the playing of loud music and raucous behaviour with foul, abusive and threatening language directed at those who have politely asked individuals to tone down their behaviour. 
 
Consequently, and in an effort to break the cycle of misuse, the Parish Council will close off the access road to prevent vehicles from accessing the car park from 6pm until 8am with effect Wednesday 13 January 2021; pedestrian access will be unaffected.
 
The measure is intended to be temporary and will be kept under review.
